If you're thinking about starting an indoor playground you'll need to consider a lot of things. It might be overwhelming at first, because you'll be thinking where will you start. We've already talked to many people about creating big and playground for the kids to have fun. But, the real question is, how will you makes the parents come back to your playground for their kids?
Starting Your Indoor Playground Business: The First Steps
In building an indoor playground we need to see the bigger picture, as you need to think how will the space flows. You also need to consider the theme and color, that will makes it unique. We had worked with a client who was a former teacher, and she knew that kids loved to climb, but she didn’t know how to make that fit into a safe, fun design for her space. She was stuck looking at an empty floor plan, that's why having a design right from the start is essential. A good design isn't just a nice picture or drawing, it will be your guide on how everything will fit together and work.
Indoor Adventure Park Success: The Chile Story
We also worked with a client in Chile, they had a small space. Everyone was saying that it couldn't fit a good indoor play park in there, but we looked at it differently. That's why we created a design that used the length. We all know that kids would start at one end on a trampoline, crawl through a net tunnel, and end up at a tall slide. And now, that park is now one of the busiest in their area. And the owner told me that kids loves the "secret path", and this become an excellent indoor park.

Understanding Indoor Playground Equipment Costs
We all know that money is one of the biggest concern when starting an indoor playground. Seeing the costs might be overwhelming as high-quality materials might be quiet expensive. If you'll choose a cheaper one, it might end up loosing the profits as you'll just put it into buying a new one. In playgrounds, the cheaper option might use thin padding, plastics that fade in the sun, or metal that rusts. The more expensive option uses commercial-grade vinyl, UV-protected plastics, and powder-coated steel. These materials is really essential as it keeps the playground safe, efficient, and durable. You really need to invest to quality materials as it will keep your business successful.
Quality in Your Indoor Trampoline Park and Soft Play Areas
We remember that one guy that's focusing more on the upfront fees. He choose he cheaper option for the ball pit walls in his indoor trampoline park. But after six months, the materials were damaged and broken, and with that he had to close that area for a week just to fix it. The effect on this is he lost the whole week profit and had to pay for repairs. When we spoke to him again, he mentioned that he saved a few thousand dollars at the start, but at the end it costs him a lot. That's the lesson we might give for everyone, that quality is everything. Safety is part of the quality, and this will also let the parents to relax while waiting for their kids, and this will lead for them to come back.
Choosing the Right Indoor Play Games for Your Location
The trend for indoor play always change, so the question is how will you know what you need to include in your park? With this, we need to consider what's the kids will likes a lot. We recommend to add equipment when it is necessary, like a ninja warrior course for area who loves sports, and if it is more toddlers, a soft play area with mini-slides could work better.
We once have a client before who wants to have a huge jungle gym, but their area is more of young toddlers and this might be intimidating for them. So, we suggested a design with a separate toddler area and a safer one. And we received a good feedback as she was very happy since that's the right fit for her customers. The lesson for this is to know what is the needs of your area based n their ages.
Visualizing Your Indoor Play Center with Design Videos
Whenever we're working with someone in their indoor play center, we don't just tell them and send some pictures, we make sure that they visualize it. We had a conversation with a couple before, and they were so confused on the 2D designs and cannot visualize on how their kids would play in it. So what we did is we sent them the 3D model and made a walk-through video, by this they can explore the indoor park play. And after they watched the video, they said that they already have an idea on the real scenario that their kids will experience. Keep in mind that this is important for you know visualize the playground before a single piece is built.

Selecting Your Perfect Indoor Playground Equipment Layout
We always give a few free design options because seeing the choices helps you decide what fits on your needs. Because we know that every person has difference preferences. And this kind of business is about the happiness that we can provide to the kids, but we also need to be serious. So, you need to carefully planned everything, from the high-quality materials to the designs you'll choose. Always put the safety among all, and that's how we work on every projects that we have.
