Orlando, Florida (Nov. 21, 2025) — As a professional observer and participant in the global amusement equipment industry, we closely followed the just-concluded IAAPA Expo 2025, which wrapped up a brilliant five-day journey at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando. This premier event not only set a new benchmark for attendance in the global attractions industry but also unveiled a wealth of innovative trends and cooperation opportunities, injecting strong vitality into the development of the amusement equipment sector worldwide.
The 2025 IAAPA Expo achieved unprecedented success in terms of scale and influence. Among 43,840 registered participants, 38,520 were verified attendees, breaking all previous records. The exhibition hall, spanning over 565,000 square feet, gathered more than 1,100 exhibitors, covering the entire industrial chain of the global attractions industry—including amusement and theme parks, water parks, family entertainment centers, as well as supporting fields such as zoos, aquariums, and resorts. Notably, 28,598 qualified buyers from 20,316 purchasing companies across 102 countries attended the expo, creating a dense network of business cooperation for the global amusement equipment market.
“IAAPA Expo continues to grow not only in scale but also in global impact,” said Jakob Wahl, President and CEO of IAAPA. This statement resonates deeply with us. During the expo, the vibrant exhibition area showcased a variety of cutting-edge amusement equipment and technological applications, while more than 170 high-quality educational events led by industry leaders provided in-depth insights into guest experience optimization, ride safety standards, and technological innovation directions. In addition, exclusive EDUTours to well-known resorts such as LEGOLAND® Florida Resort and Universal Orlando Resort allowed attendees to learn about the latest operational concepts and guest engagement strategies, which are of great reference value for the R&D and promotion of amusement equipment.
A series of major product announcements at the expo became the focus of the industry, pointing out the new direction of product innovation in the amusement equipment field. For example, SeaWorld Orlando launched a new roller coaster developed by Vekoma, Dollywood announced a new attraction in cooperation with Mack Rides, and Six Flags Over Texas unveiled the "Tormenta" roller coaster manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard Inc. What is particularly noteworthy is Zamperla's launch of the accessibility-friendly ride "The WingZ" in partnership with Morgan’s Wonderland, which highlights the industry's development trend of focusing on inclusiveness, and also provides important inspiration for our equipment R&D concept of "serving all groups".
The expo also received extensive media attention, with more than 300 journalists gathered at the IAAPA Expo Press Office. Major media outlets such as USA Today, Wall Street Journal, CNN, and E! News reported on the event, amplifying the influence of the global amusement industry to a wider audience. At the same time, the IAAPA Foundation made remarkable contributions to the sustainable development of the industry during the expo, raising more than $376,000 (including matching donations) to support global scholarships and educational initiatives, laying a solid foundation for cultivating the next generation of industry talents.
Looking ahead, the momentum of the global amusement industry will continue to rise. IAAPA will launch the first IAAPA Expo Middle East in Abu Dhabi in March 2026, focusing on the emerging market in the Middle East. Meanwhile, IAAPA Expo 2026, to be held in Orlando from November 16 to 20 next year, will expand its exhibition area by nearly 50%, responding to the strong demand of the industry. As a professional manufacturer of amusement equipment, we will continue to track the development trends of the global industry, absorb advanced technologies and concepts from international events such as IAAPA Expo, and dedicate ourselves to providing more innovative, safe, and inclusive amusement equipment solutions for global customers.
